Question

Adaptive Wide Angle filter is greyed out Photoshop CS6

I'm trying to straighten out a photo of a building; the perspective is a bit off. I wanted to use the Adaptive Wide angle filter, but it is greyed out and not availble. Is there something I can do to turn it on? I have CS6 on an iMac. Thanks, any help is much appreciated.

Check these:

You are working with Smart Object

You are working in CMYK mode

You should use "normal" rasterised layer and RGB mode

Have you chosen an Adjustment Layer rather than the image layer?

Is Graphics Acceleration enabled in Preferences > Performance?  Adaptive Wide Angle won't work without it.
