adobe capture in-app extension not there Adobe 2022 photoshop i used to have it but now its gone

This is a tricky thing, not obvious at all. It won’t let you Extract from Image until you tell it which library to put it into. You must first open a library, and then Extract from Image will be on the + menu.

Yes i know about having a library open . The extract from image option just wasnt there ( i have used it before) ,lol

Anyway , i have it back now. I had to do a clean reinstall using adobe cleaner program . Dont know what happened (why i lost it) . Maybe on an update. 

So thanks everyone for your imput

When you click on the + in the Libraries panel, do you see Ca Extract from Image?

There is no + there , the one you see on the right is the add ellements. The "+" for capture is usually on the bottom left . Its not there. I have even reinstalled photoshop ,still not there. I was using it a couple of months ago and it was working

So when you click the +, you don't see what I'm seeing below?

If not, then try uninstalling and reinstalling Photoshop. It could be an installation issue.
