Adobe Creative Suite 6 Production Premium installation problem

I have followed the instructions to copy the installation files from the original optical disks 1 & 2 to an Adobe CS6 folder on my Windows 11 desktop and have tried to install the suite from there; I receive a message to the effect that my license # is valid, but a qualifying product could not be found on my computer. I have tried the installation repeatedly without success. How can I install CS6 on my computer?

@ttryder "but a qualifying product could not be found on my computer" sounds like this an upgrade from a previous version

@Kevin Stohlmeyer "First CS6 has to be installed in the Applications folder on your C: (Main) HD - it can't be installed on the desktop" the OP stated that he/she copied the files from the DVD onto the desktop to run the installer from there, I don't see an issue with that

Yeah, that's an upgrade, not a full standalone license.

Assuming there is still a vacant activation slot, it needs the previous qualifying version serial number to proceed.

Thanks, I have CS5 and CS5.5; I'll try installing 5.5 and going from there.

@ttryder First CS6 has to be installed in the Applications folder on your C: (Main) HD - it can't be installed on the desktop. Outside of that suggestion, support for CS6 ended years ago and even Adobe Customer Care will no longer assist. If you are getting an invalid license/product not found there isn't much anyone can do fo you.
