Adobe Photoshop 2022 Photo Stacking

Photoshop version 23.01. I am trying to load CR files into a stack. I use the usual method of going File - Scripts - Load files into stack. I select the files and they load into the dialog box. When I hit OK 1 file loads and them Photoshop freezes.

Is it a particular file or files it chokes on? If you choose a different set of files, does it work?

Hi Jeffrey, Thank you for your reply. It happens with JPEGs as well. It loads one file into the stack and freezes. I have to use Task Manager to exit Photoshop.

I've also tried a set of files which worked perfectly well in the previous versions of Photoshop and it doesn't work with them either.

OK tried all of that and still the same problem. Settings Processor box shown

Something is throwing off the GPU settings. It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.
