Hi,
Many years ago I purchased the Adobe PhotoShop CS6 extended version.
I have the oryginal CD, product numer and the product key.
How do I install it on the laptop without the CD reader?
Customer servie informed me that my version is not supported any more. I understand I will not receive any updated to the program but I would like to install it in the version I paid for.
Thanks,
Agata
What version of MAC OS is on your system, Mojave was the last version you could run CS6 on.

@Ged_Traynorthank you! To be clear, you're saying that if I want to install my CS6 Master Collection (which includes Ps Ex) on another computer, I will need to deactivate the instance on my present computer before being able to do the install on the other device? And, yes, I have only used up one (1) of the two (2) activation counts.

@dianaleighallen if you have only used up 1 activation, then you should in theory be able to install and activate it on another PC without deactivating it on your current system, providing you have access to the installer files and serial number.
Keep in mind Adobe no longer reset activation counts, so if you get an error message saying that you have reached your activation limit, there's nothing much you can do I'm afraid.

@Ged_Traynor I was under the impression that the software "called home" in order to find out about the activation count. However, nobody is at home to answer the call anymore (activation servers are shut down).
I can't even install CS6 as part of the Creative Cloud any more since older versions are not supported. (I started my CC subscription with CS6.)

As of today, Adobe Help says the activation servers are still available for CS5, CS5.5, and CS6.
