I am an event photographer and takes lots of pictures under similar lighting conditions. So, it is easier for me to create an action to resize, sharpen, change profile, and save files as JPG in Photoshop. I normally do all the color corrections (white Balance), and the necessary adjustments to exposure, contrast, shadows, highlights, variance, etc. in Camera Raw first. Then I run my action to get the final images in JPG with inherited adjustments from Camera Raw.

This worked for me all the time, except recently.  In summary, In the past, when I ran the action, Photoshop imported the Raw file with all of the settings that I did into the background layer first, and then completed the action as desired. Now the problem I have is that Photoshop in fetching the Raw file but dropping of all the per-adjustments that I did before processing the file as if no adjustments have ever been made to it in Camera raw. For example if the highlights and shadows were adjusted in Camera Raw, the processed file will be output without these adjustments applied.

I would appreciate any help getting Photoshop to process the adjusted files.

An update.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Camera Raw and the program is now working as before. It appears that the Camera Raw ion my PC had a glitch that made it not to work properly.
