Batch Processing - Add Text to Image

New Here ,
Jan 25, 2024 Jan 25, 2024

Can a feature please be added that allows you to batch process multiple photos that adds the file name to the photo? There is the Watermark and Caption tool but there needs to be more options for text position, size, font, etc.

You posted to Using the Community, which it for forum questions. This sounds like your are using Photoshop. Can you confirm? If not, we can move your post again.

This sounds like a Photoshop "Idea" post (feature request). This isn't so easy in Photoshop, but it is easy to do in other software:

Various Photoshop scripts are available to add the filename to an image as a text layer, but they are generally specific to the original file resolution and sizing and require adjustment for other users. You can then record the script into an action and then use the batch command or Image Processor.

Do you wish to include the filename extension (.psd, .jpg etc)?

What colour text?

What font?

What position (upper left, lower right etc)?
