Brush Control Shortcuts

Engaged ,

Somewhere I have notes describing how to control the size and hardness of a brush, by holdingdown keys while dragging the mouse. If one of you would please remind me of what those are, I would be grateful.

For Photoshop (and that sure sound like a Photoshop question, Jack 😞

  1. With a painting tool selected, Control + Option (Mac)—drag left/right in order to decrease/ increase brush size. Control + Option (Mac) – drag up/down to decrease/ increase brush hardness.
  2. On Windows,  Alt +  Right Mouse—drag left right to decrease/ increase brush size and up/down decrease/ increase brush hardness.

You're posting this in the InDesign forum, and InDesign has no brushes. If you tell me what application you want help on, I can forward this to the correct forum.

I'd guess Photoshop, but there are several applications which use brushes.

Hello, Lengo67.

Your are right. I moved Jack 's question from the InDesign forum to the Photoshop forum in case Jack had additional questions or needed clarification on his brush shortcut question.
