Photoshop 24.4.1 bug on macos 13.3.1 MacBook Pro 16 inch M2 Pro 16GB RAM

 

scrolling is lagging over all photoshop is choppy they should use 120hz. photoshop needs more optimize for macos and apple silicon macs.  [threat removed by moderator] 

 

Photoshop scrolling and over all not smooth at all it's choppy. what a shame

Why photoshp aren't use new MacBook Pro M2 Pro, M2 Max series 120hz display? photoshop zoomed photo scrolling is choppy a lot..

Tested on MacBook Pro 16-inch M2 Pro 16GB RAM, macOS 13.3.1 with latest Photoshop and overall zoomed photo/ picture is laggy and scrolling and overall not smooth often unresping a lot..

OK, thanks. Adobe offers an option to install and carry forward the preferences, so if you are reinstalling the app, it doesn't also mean that the preferences are fresh as a daisy (necessarily). 

 

My Ps usage allows me to NOT carry forward my preferences from previous installations, and I can configure the Creative Cloud app to NOT do that by default.

Gotcha.

 

You are experiencing this lagginess with a single layer document (you mentioned jpeg earlier)? I'm running out of ideas; we are not seeing a lot of reports of M2 performance problems with Ps, and can't repro in house, so it might be worth doing a hardware diagnostic if we run out of ideas (which I'm close to doing).
