Bulk resize script with hiqh quality after resizing

Hi,

So what i'm trying to do is to mass resize images to a 40x40px size.

Here's the source image :

This is the picture I have manually resized using photoshop (using Image ->Image Size, with resampling : Automatic, and when saving to .jpg choosing Quality : 10) :

And this is the same image resized but using the File -> Script -> Image Processor resizing to 40x40 with quality of 10 :

As you can see the quality is not the same as the one resized manually (it looks more blurry), so i'm asking you if there's a way to mass resize images in order to obtain good quality result like the first resized image.
