Can't Buy

New Here ,
Jul 05, 2021 Jul 05, 2021

I've been trying for a few days to purchase adobe photoshop. Just photoshop, the 20.99 plan. Every time I try the website times out completely and can't connect. I've been trying to get in contact with support for 2 days. Checked all my settings and internet connections, and it's not on my end. Is there something going on that I'm unaware of?

@defaultgvvpgrfqqk9r Oh gosh, I'm out of ideas. I mean your location might have to do with your statement above, "I've checked my internet and the only thing I can try at this point is to rearrange my living room for a LAN connection."

I'm spitting in the wind here but maybe it has to do with wherever you are located, even within the US. Maybe your internet connection is so slow that you time out trying to get to the purchase page? Because that is what you originally posted here and we've come

Hi. I haven't seen any other complaints like this. Have you tried their Sales office at 800-585-0774?

@defaultgvvpgrfqqk9r Are you sure you are on an Adobe website? That's the place where you should buy your subscription and not through anyone else. I can't immediately find a $20.99 plan. Check this page: Compare Plans | Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Plan

Okay, I'm back to say that I did find a plan for that price. Maybe this has to do with the browser you are using? Are you based in the United States? If so, you can call the sales number to purchase but you will need to be able to download from a browser. It's possible your cache or Internet connection is temporarily causing a problem, too. Let us know if you get this figured out, okay?

Yeah, I tried using Chrome and Firefox, but neither work. On Chrome the "connection was reset" error pops up, and Firefox just never loads the payment page. I've checked my internet and the only thing I can try at this point is to rearrange my living room for a LAN connection.

I'm not sure, but if I can't get to the payment page will I still be able to download it? Because if so then I'll just call the number.

Thank you for the suggestions by the way.

The only difference with paying $9.99 vs. $20.99 per month is the the price. Both are annual plans.

Which is fine, but the payment page won't load for either. And my wife specifically asked me to do the 20.99 one.

@defaultgvvpgrfqqk9r Are you still having this problem? Must be frustrating for you. I'm trying to think what might be causing it on your end if it isn't your browser, connection, or location. Do you have trouble accessing any other websites or shopping cart areas where you need to check out and pay for something? Can you give us a link to the page with the plan you are trying to buy so we can see if we can get to the payment page? Thanks! Did you also try to call support? I hope we can solve this for you soon.

I'm able to get through other sites fine, and haven't had an issue anywhere else. The link to the page is here: https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/plans.html?plan=team&sdid=KKQYH&mv=search&ef_id=CjwKCAjw_o-HBhAs...

I'm trying to purchase the second one down on the left. I haven't called support yet. Do you know the number? I've been trying to find it but I keep getting lost on the support pages.

Okay, that link takes me to a page with Business plans but I know you want the Individuals tab for $20.99. When I click on the fourth tile in the first row, I get to a checkout page with all my information because I'm already signed into Adobe. Do you actually have an Adobe account? That may make a difference.

The number for sales is the one @S_Gans gave you above: 800-585-0774.

If you don't have an Adobe UN/PW, you can set one up here: Adobe Account

Then, once you are signed in, use this link to get to the purchase page from the tile: Adobe Creative Cloud Plans, Pricing, and Membership

Yes I have an account. I didn't realize until too late that I wasn't signed in when I posted here. But I made sure to sign in and tried the link you sent. It immediately shot me to this page, which is the same one I've been getting.

Thank you for the number by the way.

Yea, commerce.adobe.com isn't going to be right and will never get you where you need to go. Why don't you type or cut-and-paste this very simple URL into your address bar: https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/plans.html

I think it has to do with your location? I'm sure Adobe sales will sort it out for you!

I did do that. I get the same error. How you mean my location? I live in US.

Well, I went though all 9 steps, and it still doesn't work. Still get the error when I hit the buy now button.

I can't duplicate your problem and no one else right now that I know of is reporting having trouble buying a subscription to Adobe products. I think you'll have a lot more success by making a phone call to Sales through the number you were given yesterday. I'm pretty sure that's the fastest way to a solution for you. I'm really rooting for you to get this going ASAP. Meanwhile, why not take a speed test just for fun? https://www.speedtest.net. Here's my score:

Oh wow. After doing the speed test you're right it's definitely my wifi connection. Clocked in at 18 download when it's supposed to be at around 150. Thanks for your help. Going to go dig out an ethernet cable.

Try Opera

Thank you but it does look like it's actually my wifi. We're going do some rearranging so I can hook up with a cable and see how that goes. If that fails I'll give opera a try.
