Can't use the tool because your system is running Rosetta. Not Work My Photoshop (email removed-kglad)

If your not sure you can check by going to

Applications/Adobe Photoshop 2024

right clicking on the

Adobe Photoshop 2024.app

clicking

Get Info

and see if

Open using Rosetta is checked.

Yes the Remove Tool doesn't work in Photoshop 2024 running on Apple Silicon Processor Macs if you have Photoshop set to Open using Rosetta.

Are you running Photoshop 2024 using Rosetta because of some older plugins?

Hello--Have been unable to use the Remove Tool in PS 2024 on new Mac Air running Sonoma 14.5 with an M3 chip. Have reviewed previous posts. As you can see on attached screen shots PS 2024 not using Rosetta to open. The only app that mentions Rosetta is Topaz Photo AI, but the box is unchecked. I have uninstalled Photo AI and reinstalled it but that did not fix the problem. Any guidance you can provide is greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Pam,

Right click on the Adobe Photoshop 2024.app

inside Applications/Adobe Photoshop 2024

and then click Get Info to see if Photoshop is running under Rosetta.
