Can you load selections from non saved selections of objects in layer?

When I go to select > load selection, a box pops up and it says body transparency for the channel. Why does it say body transparency for the channel? And how come the object is selected when I press load selection (I didn't save it as selection)? How do you make a selection of an object with no background in Photoshop? And how do you bring back a selection for an existing object on a transparent layer?

If you want to use prepared selection any time you wish - you need to save selection. Just select subject or object and Chosse Save Selection from Select menu. You can name it (default name is Alpha 1) and confirm OK. Then you can use Lad selection to use just saved selection. This saved selection is called Alpha Channel
