Canvas/Artboard Issues

Hi all,

I've created a cartoon and I'm trying to export the following as a gif:

Punch cartoon.psd - Google Drive

For some reason the file isn't exporting in the way i'd like:

Notice all the blanks space. How do I get photoshop to export the gif in the same size as the workspace/preview of the file? Essentially getting rid of all that blank space?

Thanks!

I suspect the artboard is to blame. Get rid of the artboard and try again.

Is it cropped? It should export at the same size as your file... can you share a screenshot of your file inside of PS, zoomed all the way out?

It does export to the desired size via File<Export<Export As... however I've found that the gif format doesn't loop. Only through File<Save for Web.

Additionally I want to bring the file into after effects however the same blank space exists?
