Hello all,
I must've hit the wrong keystroke, because suddenly my page, which has text and several images, has gone strange.
Red text -- and any portions of photos that have red or blue in them -- have turned gray or partly gray.
It's probably a simple fix, but I went back and hit "undo" as far back as I could, and no luck.
Anyone know what I might have done?
Thanks so much,
-S
PS: It's not set to Grayscale, but RGB. And no other colors are affected - not yellow, not a lighter red or blue or magenta or green - just the primary color range of red and blue. In a photo of a red jacket, a swath of the red has turned gray, but not the rest of the red jacket.
Hi
Go to the view menu. - Have you got "Gamut warning" checked. If so uncheck it.

Try checking your Channels tab and see if all of the channels are highlighted. It may be that your red channel was somehow switched off.

Thank you, Fletch45. Unfortunately, looks like they're all highlighted, so it must be a different issue.

Hi,
Check your History panel. Have you gone into Quick Mask? If so, Q is the toggle to enter and exit.
If that's not it, show a screen shot of your Channels panel.

Thank you, Jane.
No quick mask, unfortunately. My Channels panel looks normal, I think?

This works for me. Thanks Dave.

May be you (like me) (and maybe many others!) hit Shift+Ctrl+Y.
I'm sure that's why I had the same problem...

This worked for me. I sometimes (very often lol) hit command+3 or 4 or something still not sure everything goes grey. And ctrl z doesnt work. It was driving me mad. You just gotta check back RGB box under the channels. Thanks!

In case it's helpful....
Example of affected dresses and affected text (they're two different layers).

Is Proof Colors checked? A Color Blindness Proof Setup might do that.

And it's davescm for the win!
Thanks for playing, everyone....
Seriously, thank you all so much. I was tearing my hair out. That was definitely a stray keystroke gone wrong (Shift+Ctrl+Y, it looks like).
Best,
S
