Question

Command T on selection

I used to be able to select a portion of an image in a layer, then hit command T to transform that part of the image, ie drag out the width or height. This is no longer working and I'm getting frustrated. Photoshop just has sooooo many problems these days ugh. What new setting do I have to change to make this basic function work again? Anyone know? TIA.

What's wrong?

Are you able to see the transformation control points after hitting Command+T ?

Which layer is active - really a pixel layer?

Is the layer unlocked and visible?

And so on …

Can you show us a screenshot with selection and visible Layers Panel and Control Bar, please?

It still works that way here (v21.0.2 on Windows 10). Do you have a layer selected in the layers panel to transform?
