I'm trying to create a triptych from a single image. I see plenty of articles on how to create a triptych using the Slice Tool in Photoshop, BUT this generates low resolution, web based files. I'm trying to find a method to create a triptych print quality files from a single image. Anyone know how to do this with a minimum of steps?

The slice tool was never intended for print.

There are scripts to save as using slices.

Thank you! I found a script that will work on the https://www.andrewnoske.com/wiki/Adobe_Photoshop_-_Scripts_Related_to_Montaging site. I appreciate your help!

With the guides in place (snap to guides is enabled by default), it's easy to cut/copy/paste to make the three panels.

Sure, it can be done manually, but you're talking about several steps involved. Why couldn't Adobe update the Slice Tool so that it could export Print Quality slices as well? It could be one save (or export) and you'd have all three images instantly saved to a folder to a folder of your choice at whatever resolution you need!
