Distorted image when trying to open a file in photoshop! help please!! :(

Is anyone else having this issue when opening photoshop? it opens fine but as soon as I open a file or even create new this pops up all distorted. I uninstalled and reinstalled same issue. This is a new laptop I just got yesterday. I shut down and restarted my laptop and am still having the same issue.

Does it happen on all files or just some?

Check to see if your View > Pixel Aspect Ration is activated.

yes, it happens even if I click create new. I cant get to the pixel Aspect Ration from the home screen. It's grayed out.

More than likely it's an issue with your GPU driver, have you tried updating your GPU driver from the manufacturers website, can you post your Photoshop system info, in Photoshop go to Help > System Info, hit the copy button and paste the entire thing into this thread

Does turning off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences (Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Graphic Processor Settings) and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?

Does turning on (or off, depending on the current settings) Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Legacy Compositing and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?
