Question

Downloaded Stock Image (300ppi) now PS keeps saying Scratch disk full?

hello, (Mac User- Catalina)

I have downloaded an Adobe stock image that is 20833px x 16667px (300ppi) and whilst trying to edit it or save it, the message comes up about Scratch Disk Full.

Is the file too big? it's just for a logo I want to try out and edit. Im very much a begineer on PS and am still getting to grips with Image size..

Hope someone can help me.

Thank you.

Well the obvious question, I'm afraid: is your scratch disk full? If you don't know, how much free space is on your system disk? If you don't know how to find out, let us know if you are on Mac or Windows.

Hello, thank you for your reply.

I'm on a Mac and I don't know how to find out.

*i have since made the size of the Canvas 1020px 816px (300ppi) , and it looks like it has sorted it.

Was the original size too large?

id still like the help please how to make more space.
