Hi , can you please help me erase the black paint from a screen shot to reveal what is there ? thank you in advance.

No

If that is a single layer then there is nothing that will recover the blacked out area. Those pixels are black (albeit with some low level noise).  If you have a legitimate reason to do this then go to the original document

It's simply not possible to reveal whats behind the black

Hello,

Am really bad with computers and I don't know much about photoshop..can someone please help me remove the scribblings on the screenshot.thats more like a big favour.

As Trevor said, there is no layer of information beneath the black. The information that was in that area has been replaced with sold black and is gone.

A solid black color looksing bad on your snapshot. Ok, It can be recover with use of Eraser tool in photoshop. I wrote a guide

use of eraser tool for background removal.

I am afraid it is not possible to reveal what was under the 'paint'.  That area is full black, and there is simply not information to work on. 

What are you expecting to find under the blacked out areas?  It looks like redacted information — perhaps a user name someone wants to keep private.  In this instance their privacy is going to remain intact.
