Hi
My name is rohith.
I was using photoshop 2018. While I was trying to save one file after editing, it is showing this error "Could not complete the Save/ Save As command because there is not enough memory (RAM)." I clearly have 13 GB remaining in my C Drive. Now I can't save my file which I edited.
Can anyone please give me a solution on how to fix it as soon as possible?
Thanks in advance...

What does that have to do with RAM?
Please read this page on Photoshop Performance:

You can try freeing up RAM in Photoshop by closing all other images and invoking Edit > Purge > All.

Do you use Windows 10?
If so might the issue be related to this?

Hi Akash - your instructions worked! Thank you. Question, if I increase my RAM do I need to go back in the registry and redo the process?

Hi Drjoel,
Thanks for the update. Glad that Photoshop is now working fine.
Yes, we recommend you to re-edit the registry and set Photoshop to automatically manage the memory. Please refer this article for detailed info: Error while accessing performance preferences - 'An integer between 96 and 8 is required.'
Thanks,
Akash

Brand new install of 2020 on a brand new machine and it is doing it.... serious lag. even trying to type text. Text either does not appear or appears after 2 minutes
16GB Ram, Huge HD so that should not be an issue.

I'm having the same trouble with Photoshop on my macOS. The instructions that apply to a desktop computer don't work.
Any advice on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much!
