Eyedropper tool not working

Hi guys! Whenever I select my eyedropper tool, there's a huge crossed out mark and it wont let me sample any colors! What should I do?

If possible, please share a screen capture of your Ps workspace, which should help people see what is happening. Make sure to include your layers.

Hold left mouse button on Eyedropper icon in Tools panel and choose appropriate 'subtool'.

That's not the Eyedropper tool, and there is no triangle indicating hidden tools. Go to Edit > Toolbars and click Restore Defaults to restore your toolbar.

Yes it was reported. I can't post the link here since it's in a back area, but I'll send it to you. Here's a screen shot I took two days ago where some say 2021 and others say 2022 on December 26.
