Font Size Issue

New Here ,
Mar 24, 2022 Mar 24, 2022

I updated the latest version of Adobe Photoshop CC and whenever I go to add a text using the text tool, my font sizes are really small.  Even at 72 you can hardley see the text.  What's wrong or how do I correct this?

Hi

Can you post a screenshot of the Photoshop interface with all the pertinent panels opened to highlight the issue.

What interface and what panels.  Please be more specific as to what you want me to share.

Hi @xodin49

Your zoom level is 18.8%. Although you've cut off the status bar that shows your dimensions in pixels, I'm guessing it's large? Let's say for example it's 4000 px by 4000 px. By comparison, your text is only 72 pixels. Make your text bigger!

  • Type in a larger size
  • Use the scrubber
  • Click in the field and use Shift + Up Arrow (keyboard)

Try 200 to 300 px to start and go from there.

Do you usually use 72 pixels (px)  or 72 point (pt). There is a massive difference between the two.
