Question

Freeze after 25 photos

Hello, windows 10 latest updates vs my geforce 2060 super graphics card,
although the latest updates are made, when more than 25 photos are opened,
when scrolling the photo with the space key, freezes, freezes in stampa and scrubby zoom are not performed.
in some versions, for example, in version 22.2, freezing slows down after 50 photos,
in some versions it does it after 30 photos. I tried it on many computers, all of them have this error.
It makes this mistake even if the photos are of poor quality.
I am giving an example, I opened 26 photos, scrubby zoom is not active in the last photo,
but I come to the first photo that opens, we talked on scroo creative could,
they made a remote connection, but the result is the same. [ Personal information removed by Moderator ]
I am attaching a short sample video. I think an update can be made about this and I'm looking forward to it, thanks

Photoshop currently stops using the GPU when 26 or more images are open.

There is another bug thread on this , if I can find it, I'll link it

Go to Photoshop Help Menu/System Info and copy/paste the details here.

That will give us the details we need to troubleshoot.

Most likely you're running out of video RAM (VRAM).

@D Fosse the op mentions geforce 2060 super, I would assume that's the RTX 2060 super which has 8GB of VRAM

Hi,

What are the specs of your computer? Especially RAM? Every image you open in Photoshop loads into RAM memeory on your computer and they can be very big, using quite a lot of space.
