I can find all kinds of fixes for Windows, I RUN A MAC.

I have tried enabling stealth mode in firewall, no help,

I have tried to completley disable the firewall, no help.

I have added Photoshop to my allowed to receive incoming connections, no help.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

I have the same problem and cannot find the solve. I can get gen fill to work sometimes, but 90% of the time I get the internet connection error. So frustrating, since the internet connection is not the real problem.

@Krystyn25132075btac @rickiep73948756 check your network connection if using WiFi - make sure you are accessing via 5 ghz not 2.4 - if possible disable dual band.

I have the same problem in windows and I can't solve it.

  • I added PS and Creative to the allowed list.
  • I turned off the Firewall.
  • restore the firewall.
  • disabled it in the Outbound rule.
  • connected to different connections.

I tried all and nothing works.

@hamidreza_2662 What does your specific error message state? Most of the time it's a Windows Defender issue with blocking Photoshop, Firefly, and Adobe. You must allow all three not just PS. If you are on the Mac - check your Firewall settings on both the router and your Mac OS.

Dear Kevin, The problem is when I want to use Generative fill. In Photoshop and Lightroom. the error says ''Please check your internet connection and try again.'' I'm using Microsoft Windows. I have added Photoshop and Creative Cloud. how should I add Firefly and Adobe? thank you for your help.

Update your Windows Defender settings to allow firefly.adobe.com and adobe.com URLs. Same as you added Photoshop.

sorry, but the link is explanation of what Windows Defender is. 😞

To add a URL should I make a new rule and add the IP address of the websites in the Inbound section?
