generative fill is so slow its useless

Taking several minutes to generate. Sometimes I can stop it and start it again and it will generate how it used to (mostly not).  I've been playing with Leonardo   - with its live canvas feature - you make changes to the input and it updates instantly.   I was raving about generative fill. I felt like it was the first revolutionary feature Adobe has added to photoshop in over 20 years.  Right now its pants

Am I alone in this? Does it get processed locally or sent to the cloud? Can internet connection impact it?
