I downloaded the 2024 version of Photoshop, the one before 2025. Generative ai works on this one better. 2025 made it worse.

@Kra_Ash Once I open an image, this opens up:

You need to select something...so, using the lasso, marquee, pen tool...once you make a selection, the contextual tool box should open with 'Generative Fill'

Does the 'Contextual' Tool Bar open at least? It's the one with the 'Check-Mark' beside it.

Question? When was the last time you restarted your computer? Sometimes that does the trick too. Especially when updating to a new application.

@Kra_Ash what version of Photoshop are you using? If you are using anything Photoshop 2023 and less, then the Generative Fill Contextual won't show up. But, if you are using Photoshop 2024+ it will most definetly will.

If your computer can't handle the AI, you can try the online version of Photoshop
