Hi there! I tried using these settings. Gradients in masks are still not working for me. I've tried all the settings in your post as well as following an Adobe tutorial. Gradient masking is something I would use almost daily before Beta came out and now it just doesn't work at all anymore. 😞

Thank you for the feedback but unfortunately that didn't work for me. Instead, it's creating a gradient layer and shows black, not the chosen pink mask color. It also isn't making the mask channel either. Yes, I am in mask mode...and no it's not working.

My apologies - I selected the wrong "classic gradient" - there are two in the menu bar! I looked closer at your uploaded image and found the option. THANK YOU SO MUCH! This is what I needed. 👏

Same issue and very fristrated - this is one of the best tools - please bring this masking technique back for users
