How do I create a Magazine page style edit

HI ,

 

Im interested in Creating an edit like the one attahced what exactly is it called it looks like theres some type of overlay. Any help would be greatly appericated.

Hello, the only blatant editing area I see is on the horizontal bar that is attached to the poorly located bar that looks like it is growing from her head. Besides that, the image is not very edited, there is maybe some added contrast, even if the tonal range seems evenly distributed.

    The differece of hue and saturaion between the head/neck and the hand/legs also seems fairly strong which might support the suspicion that editing was not very extensive.

    Maybe you should post the image on which you want to emulate that appearance.

    I don't see any particular overlay just a well lit and well adjusted photograph.

      Maybe you just posted the wrong image, Brimoreira. But there's no "effect" here.

       

      That's the problem today. People have forgotten how to photograph. They think everything is a Photoshop effect...
