Question

how to change dropper sampling going into eraser and back

I have photoshop cs6 and i did something without knowing how i did it. my eyedropper tool samples, but it goes into the eraser box instead of the brush box. I do not know how i did it. One day, it was working normally, then suddenly i was sampling and it always replaced the not-brush color box. I've been going around the issue by holding down alt, sampling a color, then pressing 'x' to switch it, but that's annoying. I would like to know how to revert it back to normal.

Hello,

I'm not sure whether I understood you in the right way. So I'll show you how I use the various application cases. I always activate the relevant icon by holding my mouse in place for a while.

not quite the issue. the eyedropper samples the color you hover over. if you click that color, it changes the color of the brush you sampled. The issue is that it replaces the secondary color, not the brush color. The tool is the eydropper.

Hi

We've all been caught by that one now and then.

Go to the colour panel and click here :
