how to fill in exact color

How do I make the pen tool fill in the exact color instead of filling in a shade of the color. When I color it is a mild color. I want it to completely fill in the color dark solid. In my case it's the color black.

And include the Layers Panel in the screenshot, the new Layer may have been created in a Group or beneath Adjustment Layers.
