How to get the color hex code in layer?

Simple image file which contains only one layer with some color,i want to get the color's hex code,here is the sceen-shot during my operation,why i can't get the color hex code in layer?

      Otherwise what have you done for trouble-shooting so far? 

      Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:
