How to get upload a photo and have it go in a frame automatically

Hello everyone!

I am beginnner-ish level when it comes to photoshop. I am currently trying to get photoshop as mentioned in the subject. I have my background saved as a template, and have already put a image frame over it. The overall goal of the project would be to have the picture upload into photoshop and embedd itself in the frame I have set up. I tend to work mostly on windows, but plan to execute the project from my iPad.

I don't use it, but the iPad version may not offer support for frames, have you checked?

I did a google search and it said yes. I know there's a way to have your pictures upload into photoshop from the camera, I am just not sure if there is a way to auto place pictures uploaded into a pre set frame.

Did you read the HelpX links that I posted?

There is no "auto" you have to drag-n-drop, or place, or use the Properties panel for the selected frame.

Are you looking to do this for only one image, or do you wish to batch populate the template using many images?
