How to quick export PNG without overwriting previous file? I setup a shortcut but everytime I use it PS just overwrites the previously exported PNG 😞

I have the same problem. I have set a shortcut for "Quick Export as PNG-8". The only problem I have is it overwrites the previously saved file if the file name is the same without any warning. It needs a warning popup and a new "Save as" dialogue box (to rename the new file).

It's a while since I did anything like that, but I know I made the action save to a specific folder.  That way it used the existing file name.  There was a tiny problem in that it always used the same destination folder, so you had to either remake the Action, or use the destination folder as a temporary location, and move the processed files to their permanent location when done.  It worked fine.

Photoshop already has a quick export to png

You can use edit >> Keybaord shortcuts and set a new key here

Then when using the command change the name here. For example a common file naming strategy is to increase the 1 to a 2, and so on.

thanks, but i just want PS to save the file with a unique name each time, I don't want to have to deal with a pop-up rename dialog (100+ layers to export...) any ideas??

This requirement was not stated in your original post.

Are the layers uniquely named?

Have you looked at the script that comes with Photoshop: File > Export > Layers to Files

There are many scripts listed in the forum for saving incremental/versioned files, try a forum search...
