How to replicate 'Soft Glow' from Fusion in DaVinci Resolve?

I'd like to replicate this effect on still images, I don't have the paid for version of Resolve so my image resolutions aren't supported in the free version and I can't justify the paid version at the moment. I really like the threshold slider, it allows me to dial in that nice soft glow to the highlights. I've tried tutorials on Youtube that use solid colour with linear dodge blend mode, but it's more work and the results I get are not as good.

Hi, please see the attached, left is no Soft Glow, right is an exagerated Soft Glow for display purposes. It's like the Orton effect but emitting more light if that makes sense.
