How to use an effect (PSDT file)

OK, that helps.  It's a Smart Object so double click the thumbnail which will open it in a new window.  One of the layers will say something like Replace me, so turn that layer off and paste your own image layer in the same place.  Ctrl s (Cmd s) to save, and go back to the primary document to view the effect.

 

It would be cool to see the before and after.
