Question

How to use color replacement tool without mouse?

When I try to use the color replacement tool, nothing happens (although the history bar shows I've "used" the color replacement tool). I have a macbook pro and a wacom cintiq, and I'm wondering if it's because I don't have a mouse (the tutorials I've seen reference a mouse) and don't know how to "click and drag" with wacom pen to use the color replacement tool. I just have the default wacom pen settings (I haven't assigned any functions to the buttons) and it seems to "click" when I tap the screen (for instance, if I want to select a different tool button, I just tap it). But I can't get it to replace any colors. Is there a mac keyboard shortcut I need to use that would be equivalent to holding the click down on a mouse and dragging? Or do I need to set a button on the pen? I'm really confused, and I've tried looking this up but just gotten more confused. Any help appreciated!

Thanks,

Gabriel

To click and drag with your Wacom, you just "paint" - push down on th pen and drag. Can you post a screenshot of what you are trying to do? Might be a setting in the options bar at the top of screen.

As far as actually using the Color Replacement Tool it's just like using the Brush Tool and you can do that with your Wacom Pen.

Maybe a setting in the tool options bar is not right or something?

Can you post a screenshot showing the image, tool options bar and layers panel?
