Inconsistent Appearance of Font

Hi,

I recently purchased and installed fonts from the family Nexa. While they appear correctly in Windows Fonts and Microsoft Office applications, I am unable to get the font to appear correctly in Photoshop, Illustrator (and presumably other apps, not yet tested as it goes beyond the scope of my project). Within my testing I have found inconsistencies between Illustrator and Photoshop, but unable to find a pattern and neither appear correctly.

Attached is a compilation of screenshots showing the difference in appearance.

Thus far I have tried.

- Reinstalling the font

- Using different anti-aliasing settings

But I have come up empty. It is possible that I am just unable to find the correct search terms to assist me, but help would be great.
