Hello, Adobe forums,

Is there a non-destructive clarity adjustment rather than having to go to camera raw filter to adjust the clarity on an image?

Yes,

Strat to convert your image, layer or layers into Smart object

Then use Filter > Camera Raw filter and use Clarity option

This way your edit is none destructive and you can alse edit Clarity and others settings later

Yes, but wouldn't you still have to merge all previous layers into a new one, therefore, making it still somewhat destructive. Is there something similar to like a contrast slider?

Hi

You can select several layers and make them all into a single smart object. If you want to go back and edit them then then just double click on the smart object to open it and get access to all those original layers

Hi

Do you use the camera raw filter on a smart object which makes it none destructive?

I can convert my first initial layer into a smart object, but it won't apply clarity into any layers above it making it useless. If I want to add it with all my layers I'd have to merge all previous layers into a new layer therefore making it destructive.
