Should I run the JPEG Artifacts Removal Neural Filter on my PSD or TIFF or wait until I convert to a JPEG?  In other words, does it only work on JPEGS/JPGs?

The purpose is to reduce artifacts on an image that has previously been compressed using lossy jpeg compression.

It is not necessary on TIFF /PSD which use lossless compression.

There is no value in running it before saving a jpeg as the compression artifacts are only introduced when jpeg compression is applied (i.e when the file is been saved)
