Layer thumbnail malfunction

Hi and sorry for my english language. After upgrading to the 2022 version, if I make any adjustments from the "image adjustments" menu, the layer thumbnail becomes transparent (see attached file). what is causing this? can anyone help me? thanks.

Can you try using an Adjustment Layer (non-destructive) instead of the Image menu (destructive) and let us know if this works?
