layers not found.

hello everyone. I coverted my rbg file into cmyk and after converting it changed into one layer. Now I can't edit anything in the image. help me out. thank you.

To be safer in the future, you can also do Image > Duplicate... first (and here too you get the choice to flatten or not).

@Zesty_wanderlust15A7 same root issue doing it that way. Simply select do not flatten when converting your color space.

I said "to be safer," not to solve the issue directly.

If my advice is made a habit, people will still have their original and can try again if they must.

Easy to add in a convert action too. Possible drawback is you have to deal with two files now, but the sense of safety can easily be worth it.

If you want to keep an RGB (or whatever) original too, it's a win-win.

Use the History panel to go back to the RGB version before you flattened during conversion.

 

Convert to Profile:

Image > Mode > CMYK:
