MacOS 11 Big Sur Error message: PhotoshopServer cannot open due to a problem

Hello!

After installing Mac OS Big Sur, I had to upgrade PSE to v19. But since then this error message is regularily occurring after starting my Mac Mini (2018), even without starting PSE. I guess there still is a conflict between Big Sur and CreativeCloud, but I don't need CC and I don't want it yet. I am quite happy using PSE offline and I just want to get rid of that error message.

You need to upgrade your PSE19 to PSE21.

PSE2019 is not built to run on Big Sur. You've upgraded your OS past compatibility.

Thank you, this was my fault. I wanted to write '… upgrade from PSE 19 to PSE 2021 …'

Do you have the Creative Cloud desktop app installed? If so, have you checked it for updates?

You may now compare this with the attached 'ABOUT PSE' screenshot of my ADOBE PSE 2021 v19 (!!)
By the way … the Update option there is dimmed.

Ive compared – you are already on that same version which is why you can't upgrade...

Elements is not part of the Creative Cloud suite and Creative Cloud app will not offer updates to Elements.
