Need .jsx Script to Save .sta (color match) File Automatically

Hello everyone,

I'm currently working with the Color Match adjustment feature in Photoshop and I need to automate the process of saving .sta files.

Does anyone know of a script in .jsx format that can automatically save these .sta files?

Thanks a lot for your assistance!

Can you record it to an Action and invoke that from a script?

Good thinking. It records the action itself but not the .sta

Please use ScriptingListener.plugin to record the operation and then clean up and adapt the resulting code.

But … are you sure you want to spend time on a destructive (and, in my opinion, therfore worthless) Adjustment like Match Color?

What is the larger process you are trying to automate?

Hey, thanks for the quick response. Tried scripting listener but that doesn't save the sta file. It only accepts a .sta file but have to go into the menu every tine to save the .sta. Fully aware of the destructive nature of this adjustment (worthless in my opinion also) but need a quick automatic way of correcting items.

Dang, you are right – saving the sta-file does not record …

Yeah, sometimes time and resources dictate what one can do.

How many image combinations do you need to adjust to one sta?

Have you tried whether the Neural Filter > Color Transfer can be recorded?

Edit: Sorry, I couldn’t record usable code for Color Transfer.
