Object Select and Select Subject not working

The new version of PS crashes every time I try to use the Object Select or the Select Subject tools. How can this be corrected?

Hi

When Photoshop misbehaves the first thing to try is a preferences reset

It would also help if you posted your Photoshop system info, in Photoshop go to Help > System Info, hit the copy button and paste the entire thing into this thread

Your system info looks OK, one thing I noticed is that GPU driver is 6 months old

Driver date:                  2022-04-03  000000.000000-000

      Driver age:                   6 months

Try updating that using this tool

If updating the GPU drivers dosen't help, try resetting the preferences as I mentioned above and if that doesn't help try using the Adobe Cleaner Tool

Thank you. I updated the drivers and it seems to be working a lot better. At least it isn't crashing out every time although it is still quite slow. Thank you again for your help.
