P: Program error while opening or creating new document after Photoshop 22.1 update [2020]

Since yesterday's update, can´t even open a jpg file. Always says: Could not complete your request because of a program error. I need to work.

I'm paying for this program and customers are waiting... gee it's be great if Adobe fixed this. I didn't even ask for an upgrade. I finally get a gig during Covid and now this. "C'mon Man."

Ok I am also having the exact same issues on v21. Assumed it was update issue when I saw people having itm This isn't the programme error message its messed visuals selections tools not working panels all over the place and crashing, I have no idea what to do, disabled graphics processor, tried restoring settings and again it's on both the v21 and the latest update im having exact same issues what can I do please?

I have the same program error after updating Photoshop. However, turning off the graphics processor helped.

Здравствуйте, к сожалению у меня точно такая же проблема.. Ожидать исправления очень затруднительно, работать нужно, собственно с чего я и оплачиваю подписку.
Все советуют установить старую версию, у меня же это версия 21.2.4, которая очень тормозит, работать не возможно. Режим экрана "Стандартное окно" вообще вниз съехал..
Как можно установить еще более старую версию, так как других у меня больше нет на Creative Cloud?

I have the same issue and see that this error was reported on the 20th October, 4 days ago. Can you tell me when this is likely to be fixed and do we get a credit for not being able to use it for the time it is not fixed?

You can also force quit the application if you need to - use task manager on windows and activity monitor on mac.

Dear Adobe,

Is it too much to ask for Adobe to bug test their software before releasing? I just want to use the software for my work and not become a full-time IT technician.

Please provide an estimated time date as to when a working copy of Photoshop 2021 will be available.

I had to find and reintall Photoshop 19 to be able to work. My department is now in the process of purchasing a new computer for me which is nice but also crazy. If I was an independent freelancer, there is no way I could afford to keep up with the prices of all this stuff.
