When woke my imac this morning (OS 12.6.5) I found Photoshop uninstalled. I'm the only user and my bill is all paid up. My other Adobe software remains intact. It just wasn't there!
I went to the CC home page and it said my other apps were up to date and that I could install PS, as though I never had before. So I did, no problem installing.
HOWEVER, 20 years worth of presets, brushes, macros and actions are all gone. That was a LOT of usability/productivity to have taken away without warning. Is there an easy retreival?
What gives?
Hi everyone. Wanted to let you know the team is working on this and will update when there is a fix.

It's now 2025-04-09, and this just happened to me for the first time. My workspaces, my settings, all wiped.
Fortunately, I had all my custom actions saved to a non-adobe folder, so I was able to recover after some pissed-off grumbling and wasted time.
What's really weird - PS was working perfectly fine earlier today, an hour earlier!!! I opened up the CC app on my Win11 machine, and it showed that PS was available to be installed, and like an idiot I ran the installer before checking if PS was really there and the CC app was "confused".
And when PS opened, it was as if it had never ever been installed before.
The only other "new" factor - I just subscribed to another Adobe app (Acrobat Std), and had opened CC to install it. That's when I saw that PS was seemingly uninstalled.
Not thrilled with this at all.

Which version number did you have before this happened?
And which version is installed now? Help > About Photoshop.
I have turned off automatic app updates from my CC Desktop App. I don't install updates until I'm ready for them.
