Hello. This message starts to pop up now with using GenAI tool (Photoshop beta and 26.7.0, both version)
"You don't have enough credits for this generative action. Upgrade your Firefly plan now to get more credits for continued access or wait until your monthly reset."
I have the annual subscription (renewed several days ago) and 250 credits included into this plan.
Usually when all credits are gone, GenAI just continue to work slower, but there wasn't any block to use this tool.
Are there any new rules/tariff changes for using this tool?
Hey @oksikemp,
It seems you have reached your monthly limit. You can either wait until your generative credit limit resets next month or purchase additional generative credits through the Firefly add-on plans. These plans have a month-to-month option that can be cancelled after a month without penalty if needed. Read more about changes to our plans here: https://adobe.ly/4jXoINs

If so, why does it work, even if it is worse, in version 25?

For me not. Also in 25 its out of credits

If so, it's complete crap. Too expensive to use. It makes no sense at all.

Thank you dave. Hope we have an answer too.

Thanks Dave. Given we have to often run Generative AI 20 or more times to get the results we need, and we use it _heavily_, this latest update, with no real solution for professionals, is going to cost us a lot.

The documentation refers to an optional Creative Cloud Pro subscription (North America only at present) giving unlimited standard generations and 4000 premium generations/month. Conversely the standard CC all apps (again North America only at present) reduces credits to 25. That would appear to cater for both heavy users and rare users of generative AI.

When credits run out, the only options are to wait, or purchase a Firefly plan. https://helpx.adobe.com/firefly/get-set-up/learn-the-basics/generative-credits-faq.html#generative-c...
https://www.adobe.com/products/firefly/plans.html Note the reference to unlimited generative fill in the standard plan
North America customers have the option of a Creative Cloud Pro plan with unlimited standard credits.

Ok. credits for premium features its ok. but for standard features? in the firefly plan is the firefly standard and there written for standard use zb. for generative fill is unlimited? so why we users from photoshop have to buy credits for standard use especialy generative fill. makes no sense. they increase the price for me from 10 to 18 euro. and now they force me to buy credits for standard use ai?

1000000% agree. I am not trying to AI a brand new photo. Just the usual photoshop work. And again, it takes a lot of "tockens" to get the Fill to do what you need it to do.

The generative Fill AI doesn't show results anymore. It was on and off for weeks but stopped working altogher. Anyone else going through this and knows how to fix (everything is up to date).
Thank you!!!

Check how many credits you currently have, if you're out of credits, you can't use Generative Fill anymore. You’ll need to top up.
It's unfortunate that the Generative Fill feature still isn’t perfect and often produces inaccurate results, yet you have to pay extra to use it

What you're saying isn't correct. Credits aren't needed to use generative fill.

@raulg33668490 It depends on which plan you have. If you have the CC Pro plan (North America only) then standard generations (which includes generative fill) are unlimited - the same with a standard Firefly plan. For other plans then credits are required for generative fill.

Try checking, this just started today. If you still have credits, you wouldn’t notice it
Yes, starting today, if your credits are zero, you won’t be able to use it

I did contact customer service and was told that there is an overall issue with this but the lack of credits shouldn't make this not work. I also don't get a message notifying that i do not have credits left. There is a new Photoshop update that just came out and i am going to see if it does fix the issue.

The rep yesterday did look into my account and it did say that I din't have credits. But he never said I shouldn't be able to use GF rather that it was a developer issue. Now that I have updated Photoshop to 26.8, I do get the "need more credits" message.
What is unfortunate is that GF is still not perfect and it gets a lot of tries to make it do what I need it to do, ergo those credits will be used up rather fast. I am more than happy to pay for credits if they actually work well. But, yes, as many of you on this forum have noted, the system is still not perfect and work in progress. So why should I pay for something that doesn't really work great. It absolutely makes zero sense to me. I feel like Adobe is just bleeding me out of money. What's next? Credits to dodge and burn?

thats it. now it makes no sense to use it. not for private and not for commercial use. its over. and adobe really think we buy credits to make useless tries? what is going on adobe.
