when i want to use pen tool for decoupage, it's not working as expected. It's freezing always! so i have to shut down the program and open again. I need really help. Just sick of this problem... By the way, program is update(!)

What have you done for all-purpose trouble-shooting so far?
Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:
