Photoshop 23.3 crashes after update (windows 11)

At my company, we have updated photoshop to version 23.3. After that, the application stopped working under normal conditions.

Crashes (event viewer show problems with kernelbase.dll), can't open tiff's, etc.

The downgrade to the last past version does not give any problem at all.

Are you running as an adminstrator on the computer?

Same. Crashed just on start like hell. Reboting PC can help.

Some time its one of five starting - dont crashed.

Tryed to loading without plugins and GPU disable - still crashing.

GPU disabling reveal terrible graphic glutch when FreeTransforms - bound not resets and/or disapair unpredictebly.

Reinstall not help. Will try prvious version.  Adobe program quality now - its just disaster.

I  hope that the industry will find a replacement, like Affinity, and that designers will migrate en masse.
As long as Photoshop is the de facto monopolist of the professional market and is sold on a subscription model, it will continue to degrade every year, as it has been doing for years. For one improvement there were five deteriorations.

Hi Kevin,

Regarding the question, with an administrator account the problem also happened.

Reinstalled drivers yesterday to the latest available, updated also photoshop this morning through creative cloud to the latest available. Apparently my problems stopped.

Our designer is working on files that gave us problems last week. Let's see how things go from now on.

Thank you for your attention.

My best regards.
